The registration fee includes

Currency and Payment
The official currency in Norway is NOK (Norwegian Krone).
Registration fees can be paid cash (EURO) or via credit card (VISA and Mastercard).
Delegate’s badge
Please wear your badge at all times as it guarantees admission to the industrial exhibition and the lecture halls. Lost badges may only be replaced upon proof of original payment.

Certificate of attendance
The certificate of attendance can be collected at the registration desk.
EACCME accreditation
The 14th ESSKA Congress is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.UEMS.net.
The 14th ESSKA Congress is designated for a maximum of 21 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician‘s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
Language
The official language of the meeting is English. There will be no translation of lectures.

The industrial exhibition is located at the arena floor of the Spektrum.

Poster exhibition
The poster exhibition is located in the foyers and on the arena floor of the Spektrum. All posters should be placed on the relevant poster board. Posters may be set-up on Tuesday, June 8, 16:00-18:00 and Wednesday, June 9, 08:00-09:30.
Posters should be removed on Saturday, June 12, 10:00-13:30. Posters not removed at this time will be discarded. Posters and other material can not be sent to your home address after the conference.
Speakers’ information and media-check
The media check is located on the 3rd fl oor of the Radisson Blu Plaza. All presentations must be uploaded via the web-based presentation tool called “Preseria” in advance. In case you would like to check the presentation files onsite you can visit the media-check at least two breaks prior to your session, i.e. if a presentation is being held during a morning session, it should be checked at the end of the day before. In the media-check technicians will be at your disposal. Personal laptops must not be used for presentations in the lecture halls. Speakers are kindly requested to follow the instructions of the chairperson and strictly keep to the time limit of their presentation.

There will be a Welcome desk/Information desk at the Airport Gardermoen in Oslo. When passing
through the exit door from the arrival hall please turn right. You will find the Welcome desk after 25
metres at your left just beside the OSL Information desk.

In both venues – the Spektrum and the Radisson Blu Plaza – wireless internet access will be provided on all congress days free of charge.
Workout opportunity during the 14th esska congress
As a participant during the 2010 ESSKA meeting in Oslo, you have the opportunity to visit the gym SATS to get a workout during the congress days.
SATS is a complete fitness centre that offers studio-training and exercise classes such as aerobics and spinning. It is located in the congress venue Oslo Spektrum and it is open all days during the congress from 6.15 am – 11 pm (Friday 6.15 am-9 pm, Saturday 10 am - 6 pm). As a participant you will have free access to the centre by showing your conference pass.
